Platinum selling, Songwriters’ Hall of Fame singer-songwriter Don McLean returns to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre! Don McLean is one of the most revered and respected songwriters in American history. After paying his dues in the New York club scene in the late ‘60s, he went on to score mega-hits like Vincent (Starry, Starry Night), Castles in the Air and many more. The transition to international stardom began in 1971 with the release of American Pie. Since first hitting the charts, he has amassed over 40 gold and platinum records worldwide. Don McLean continues to receive honors for his musical discography. Madonna, Garth Brooks, Josh Groban, Drake, Weird “Al” Yankovic and countless others have also recorded his catalog of songs.
