News of the World is the sixth studio album released by Queen. Music critics at NME ranked the album as Queen’s best, describing it as “their sharpest, surest set.” The album contains Queen classics like Spread Your Wings, Sheer Heart Attack and stadium anthems like We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions. When released, the album reached #4 on the UK Albums Chart and #3 on the U.S. Top Albums chart.
Today, the album is regarded as one of Queen’s greatest albums.
