ART ON THE ROCKS – Mandala Coffee Mug

Mandalas are circles contained within a square and arranged into sections that are all organized around a single, central point. Mandalas hold symbolic and meditative meaning beyond their vibrant appearance. Students will learn how to begin creating and expanding the mandala with the dots technic making their own and unique design with mandala tools and toothpicks to create different kind of dots. These techniques apply to any surface, in this class we will paint a mandala on a Coffee Mug.
