bloom and residue redux

Redefining cycles of renewal through interactive design and performance, bloom and residue redux is the (re)visiting of an immersive experience that marries dance with visual art, exploring themes of change, transformation and new life with new eyes. Created by projectALCHEMY and Resident Company Artist Rebekah Lazaridis, bloom and residue will be revived March 24-26 at 7:30p.
*Dance experience includes a walking maze with dance elements and installations. Limited seating and standing room only as the performance is 30 minutes long.
Rebekah Eugenia Lazaridis is a multidisciplinary painter who creates immersive mixed media art experiences inspired by theatre. Her recent installation, The Unseen, premiered at Studio620 in October 2018. She has held solo exhibits in St. Petersburg and in New York City. As a scenic artist, Rebekah has painted for many professional companies and apprenticed for USA829 on Broadway productions, film and live television. You can see her murals in both downtown St. Pete and in Channel District, Tampa.
